Frequently asked questions

Do students need prior ballet experience?
Not at all! We welcome complete beginners and will help each student to build a strong foundation.
What should students wear to class?
Comfortable athletic wear and socks for your first class. We’ll advise on proper ballet attire once you join.
Do you enroll students in exams?
Yes, we offer the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet exams as part of our progam for those students who wish to take part.
What About Performances?
We have an open class every few months for parents, family, and friends to join in the fun and see what their children have learned. This is a low-pressure and fun way to perform and is something the students and their families look forward to.
We also have a studio-wide performance every other year, held at a large venue. There are usually a couple of days of dress rehearsals leading up to the big event.
